Canna-sag White Apple Runtz — Flower Review

Hey Campers! Roxy’s back — and this time she did her homework before she even lit up. Her review of  Canna-sag White Apple Runtz 3.5g  digs into the genetics, the cure, and the terps before she even gets to the smoke. This is what happens when a budtender actually reads the label.

Canna-sag is a craft producer out of Quebec that most  Ontario   smokers haven’t heard of yet. A 14–20 day hang-dry followed by a 60-day cure is the kind of commitment that shows up in the terpene count — and 4.4% terps is proof.

Budtender Review (Roxy)

“White Apple Runtz by Canna-sag. $33 for 3.5. THC 29.6%. CBD 9.4%. Terps 4.4%. Dominant terps: limonene, caryophyllene, selinadiene. Secondary terps: myrcene, linalool. I did some research on Canna-sag and they are a craft company from Quebec. I had to try their product when I read they do a 14–20 day hang-dried and 60 day cure. YUMMMMMY!! This makes for a higher terpene count, something that happens rarely with less cure time. The buds are dense and tight. The ash was white. Smoke smooth. I could actually taste all three dominant terps making a citrusy and peppery inhale and a sweet diesel exhale. Absolutely amazing!!! This is a heavy indica hitter and not for beginner campers — unless they want to fall into couch-lock. I would definitely say this is going to be a frequent strain in my life. I would absolutely try anything they have on the market.”

First Impressions

First thing that stands out: 4.4% total terpenes. That’s a number that earns attention, and Roxy traced it directly to Canna-sag’s drying and curing process — 14–20 days hang-dried, followed by a full 60-day cure. Most LPs don’t come close to that timeline, and the  terpene   preservation shows. The buds are dense, tight, and visually clean. White Apple Runtz combines Runtz genetics with an apple-forward profile, and the CBD content (9.4%) is unusually high for a strain at this THC level (29.6%), making this a genuinely balanced powerhouse.

How It Hits

Heavy. Roxy didn’t mince words: this is a couch-lock  indica   that’s not for beginners unless they know what they’re signing up for. The dominant terps — limonene, caryophyllene, and selinadiene — deliver a citrusy, peppery inhale, followed by a sweet diesel exhale that carries the Runtz genetics through. The white ash and smooth smoke confirm the cure did its job. What makes this one special is the layering: you can actually taste individual terpenes rather than getting a generic “weed” flavour, which Roxy credits directly to the extended cure.

What People Are Saying Online

  • Canna-sag is a craft producer from Quebec known for extended hang-dry and cure timelines that push terpene preservation beyond what most commercial LPs achieve.
  • The White Apple Runtz profile combines the candy-sweet Runtz genetics (Zkittlez x Gelato) with apple-forward notes, creating a flavour that’s both familiar and distinct — citrus, pepper, and diesel layered over a sweet base.
  • Cannabis consumers generally report that White Runtz and Apple Runtz genetics deliver a balanced euphoria that transitions from a heady onset into deep body relaxation, consistent with Roxy’s couch-lock description.

Our Take

White Apple Runtz from Canna-sag is the kind of strain that makes you rethink what a $33 eighth can deliver. The terp count alone (4.4%) puts it in rare company, and the fact that you can taste individual terpenes on the inhale and exhale tells you the cure wasn’t rushed. The THC-to-CBD ratio (29.6% to 9.4%) is unusual and suggests a more complex high than a THC-only strain at the same potency — the body of an indica with enough cannabinoid diversity to keep the experience layered. Roxy’s already committed to buying anything else Canna-sag puts out, and that’s not a statement she makes lightly. At Stok’d, this one gets flagged for terp-curious smokers who want to taste what a proper cure actually does to flower.

About the Brand

Canna-sag is a  craft cannabis  producer out of Quebec that prioritizes old-school drying and curing techniques — 14–20 day hang-dries and 60-day cures that most commercial operations skip for the sake of speed. Their approach to terpene preservation is reflected in consistently high terp counts, and their flower is built for consumers who read labels and care about what’s behind the numbers. They’re still under the radar for most Ontario shoppers, but reviews like Roxy’s are starting to change that.

Final Word

White Apple Runtz is a sleeper. The brand is quiet, the packaging isn’t flashy, and most people haven’t heard of Canna-sag — but the flower speaks for itself. 4.4% terps, white ash, and a couch-lock high that earns every point of its 29.6% THC. If you want to taste what a real cure does to real genetics, start here. Grab it at any Stok’d location in  Scarborough  or  Niagara Falls , or  order online for delivery .
